"I loved loved loved this place, especially as a Bangladeshi person.. it was incredible to find super incredible homemade dishes that resembled the stuff I grew up eating. I came here with my boyfriend’s family who are American Dutch, and the spice level was perfect for everyone - even as a native it was really to my taste. We ordered a lot - biryani, aubergine bharta, butter chicken, lots of naan, dahi puri, palak paneer, daal, wheel kebab.. and my absolute favorite … the king prawn masala!!!! Thank you to the staff for making us feel at home and even arranging a cute birthday wish for my partner."

"Patang is probably one of the best authentic Indian food you will get in Paris. We got their nimbu paani (not too sweet, and very refreshing), dahi puri (very flavorful) and chicken biryani (it is not dum biryani but the biryani tastes very good) The staff is very friendly too. We ate here twice in less than a week, closest to comfort food we could get."

"Compared to other Indian places in Paris, this one is good! The butter chicken was a bit too sweet for our taste. However, the palak paneer was very good as they make the paneer themselves (most Indian restaurants in Paris use cream cheese/vache qui rit), and the naans were hot and fresh and soft. The service was very friendly! It's an intimate atmosphere, not many seating spaces, and reservations are definitely necessary!"

"Just go there! Stop looking for other places. They serve AMAZING FOOD and the best part was Monica’s great service!! She was super sweet, friendly and recommended the best dishes. we had the best chicken butter ever. Super cozy and delicious atmosphere! No photos as there was no time for them. So I’ll leave the real pistachio ice cream we got there. Best Indian food ever!"

"We visited Patang during our family trip to Paris and it was hands down the best meal of our entire trip. And that’s saying something — we ate very well in Paris! As Indians, we know our food. We know what authentic tastes like. And Patang delivered on every single dish without exception. The chicken tandoori was outstanding — perfectly marinated, beautifully charred on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The spices were exactly right — not adapted for a European palate, genuinely authentic Indian tandoori the way it should be. The chicken malai kebab was silky, creamy and melt-in-the-mouth. A completely different flavour profile to the tandoori but equally impressive. The kitchen clearly knows what they are doing with each dish individually — nothing felt like an afterthought. The bhuna gosht was the star of the table. Rich, deep, intensely spiced — the kind of slow-cooked flavour that takes hours to develop. We were scraping the bowl. Absolutely exceptional. The cheese naan deserves its own mention. Hot, fresh, perfectly layered with melted cheese inside — we ordered extra. It elevated every single dish it was paired with. Best naan we have had outside of India. The ambience was warm and welcoming — cosy, intimate and with a wonderful atmosphere that made the whole experience feel special. The kind of place you want to linger in. The staff were brilliant — attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely warm. They made a family of 7 feel completely at home. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are Indian and craving real, authentic, properly spiced food in Paris — stop searching and come here. If you are not Indian and want to experience what Indian food truly tastes like at its best — come here. Patang is the real deal. We will be back every single time we visit Paris. "My partner and I both enjoy Indian food and have been searching for an Indian restaurant near where we are staying and we found Patang. Small restaurant with pretty good food. Very small restaurant, so it's best to make a reservation in order to be seated. Staff are very helpful. We both ordered the Matar Paneer and enjoyed the flavors. The dish is light on paneer, filled with peas and more of a thick stew than a thin sauce. The flavors are light, and I ordered my dish mild. We also ordered the plain rice and one naan to share. Overall, not bad food."

"Patang is an amazing find and ended up being my favorite meal during my stay in Paris. The flavors in each dish are really incredible and jumps out with each bite, especially the Puri. As a garlic naan enjoyer, the cheese + garlic naan here is honestly the best naan I’ve ever tasted. It came out hot with a sizzling garlic smell, then the cheese melted in the middle layer made my whole meal. I walked in not feeling super hungry and felt more appetite as I kept eating. You have to check this restaurant out."
